Over 20,000 Job Opportunities in Khorasan Razavi

Following the implementation of ‘Takapu’ scheme in Khorasan Razavi Province, some 20,000 job opportunities have been created in automobile industry, Saffron production and local tourism.

Takapu is a plan, which strengthens small businesses, links people to markets and contributes agencies, instead of financial contributions.

The plan also covers other production units as apparel and footwear production, which is promised to go operational until the end of the current Iranian Year (ends March 20, 2018).

According to Mahmoud Ahmadi, the head of provincial office of Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, the efforts on plan has paid back most approvingly in Khorasan Razavi, compared to the other provinces.

“The most noticeable feature of Takapu is that it relies on small businesses which are based on the resistance economy. it is a subsidiary of a more broad plan on creating over 160,000 job opportunities in the province,” he said.
